VALET PARKING MODE- 

To activate, select the pull down menu and scroll to 'VALET PARKING MODE'

 

A PIN must be set up in order to activate this mode. If a PIN is stored with the active driver profile, this one will be used. Driver profiles without a PIN must assign one at this time. 

 

You will be given the option to lock the tailgate as well. When selected, the tailgate will locked and disconnected from the central locking system. 

 

Once activated, Valet Mode will display on the iDrive control display. Now, the iDrive is locked and personal information cannot be displayed or changed.

 

When you return to your car, to deactivate Valet Mode, simply choose your profile and enter your PIN.
